A book redesign for Ursula K. Le Guin's essay was explored to highlight the importance of the receptacle, which she argues to be the earliest tool created in human history. An emphasize on typography and imagery were added to heighten the importance of receptacles in daily life, whether that be a bag, a plastic container, or a cup shaped from organic matter.
